Days 1-3
Moscow
Tourists’ meeting at the airport, transfer to the hotel.
Bus city tour, Kremlin with visit to one of the Cathedrals. Bus tour to the beautiful Novodeviciy monastery. Transfer to the M/S “Swan Lake”. Boarding the ship M/S “Alexandre Benois”. The beginning of the river cruise.

Optional at extra cost – An Evening tour in the center of Moscow aboard Radisson’s yacht + dinner at the yacht; Visit to a ballet performance.

Day 4
Uglich
A Captain’s cocktail Welcome party.

In Uglich: Tour of many beautiful churches and monasteries of the Middle Ages and visit to the site of the murder of Tsarevich Dmitry that started the Time of Troubles. Then we will visit the modern museum of the history of hydropower engineering in Russian

Day 5
Kostroma
Plyos
In Kostroma: Tour of the city, which is considered to be the cradle of the House of Romanov, the last dynasty of Tsars of Russia. Visit to the Ipatiev Monastery, from where Mikhail Romanov, the founder of the Romanov dynasty, was called up to reign in 1613; tour to the old merchant hall and an interesting fire lookout tower in the big central square of the city.

In Plyos: Tour around the town, which inspired a lot of Russian artists by its beauty. Visit to the historic house museum of the famous painter Isaac Levitan or the landscape museum, a walk along the inviting promenade, stop on one of riverside cafes for a Russian tea party.

Day 6
Yaroslavl
Tutayev
In Yaroslavl: A tour of the old Russian town with many extant centuries-old churches. Visit to one of them, the impressive temple of Elijah the Prophet, examination of the beautiful city center and the picturesque conflux of the Volga and Kotorosl rivers, a walk through the city park

In Tutayev: Tour of a small provincial Russian town, which history goes back centuries. Walk along quiet streets and tour to wooden houses with carved windows casings, merchants’ mansions and churches. Walk along the picturesque Volga promenade.

Day 7
Koprino
Myshkin
In Koprino: Green stop.

In Myshkin: A Visit to the Russian Valenki museum where you can find out all about the traditional Russian felt boots. In the house of crafts, watch the work of real blacksmiths, as well as pottery and carpentry workshops. Real master craftsmen will teach you their craft at your request. An Inspection of the old mill, where you will be shown the miracle of the transformation of grain into flour.

Farewell dinner with a cake.

Day 8
Moscow
Check-out from the ship. Transfer to the airport.

If desired, one may continue the trip across Russia for an additional price, visiting St. Petersburg for 3 days.

Transfer to the railway station, boarding the high-speed “Sapsan” train. Arrival to St. Petersburg. Transfer to the hotel. Tour around the city center. Hermitage Museum Tour. Bus tour to Peterhof Palace with a visit to the park and examination of the world famous cascade fountains. Transfer to the “Pulkovo” Airport (St Petersburg).

Optional at extra cost – An Evening tour through the channels of St. Petersburg with transfer to the quay; Visit to a ballet/opera performance.
