Days 1-3
Tourists’ meeting at the airport, transfer to the hotel.
Bus city tour, Kremlin with visit to one of the Cathedrals. Bus tour to the beautiful Novodeviciy monastery. Transfer to the M/S “Swan Lake”. Boarding the ship M/S “Swan Lake”. The beginning of the river cruise.

Optional at extra cost – An Evening tour in the center of Moscow aboard Radisson’s yacht + dinner at the yacht; Visit to a ballet performance.
Day 4
A Captain’s cocktail Welcome party.

In Uglich: Tour of many beautiful churches and monasteries of the Middle Ages and visit to the site of the murder of Tsarevich Dmitry that started the Time of Troubles. Then we will visit the modern museum of the history of hydropower engineering in Russia.

In Myshkin: Visit the Russian Valenki museum where you can find out all about the traditional Russian felt boots. In the house of crafts, watch the work of real blacksmiths, as well as pottery and carpentry workshops. Real master craftsmen will teach you their craft at your request. An Inspection of the old mill, where you will be shown the miracle of the transformation of grain into flour.

Day 5
Visit to the Kirillo-Belozersky Monastery with some preserved buildings of the 15th century, an examination of rare old Orthodox Christian murals.
Day 6
In the island reserve of Kizhi we will examine numerous ancient wooden structures that were transported here from different parts of the north of Russia. Among them is the gem of the collection, the 22-dome Church of the Transfiguration, built of wood only, without a single nail. The museum’s collection is included in the UNESCO World Heritage List.
Day 7
In Mandrogi: Open-air picnic. After a picnic with a folk music band, the program provides for a walk through the amazing village of Mandrogi, master classes of traditional crafts and a visit to the Russian Vodka Museum

In Svirstroy: Bus tour to the Russian Orthodox Holy Trinity Alexander-Svirsky Monastery.

Day 8
Visit to the island of Valaam, located in the Ladoga Lake. The natural beauty of this island is absolutely different from other stop places along the route. There are more than 480 plant species at the island; most of it is covered with evergreen forest. Visit the Valaam monastery, monument of old Russian architecture.

Farewell dinner with a cake.

Days 9-12
St. Petersburg
Tour around the city center. Check-out from the ship. Transfer to the hotel. Hermitage Museum Tour. Bus tour to Peterhof Palace with a visit to the park and examination of the world famous cascade fountains. Transfer to the “Pulkovo” Airport (St Petersburg).

Optional at extra cost – An Evening tour through the channels of St. Petersburg with transfer to the quay; Visit to a ballet/opera performance.
